Fixed Attenuators

Used to reduce the power of a signal without causing distortion of its waveform. They are used in many test and measurement and communication applications.

  • 50 Ω or 75 Ω impedance
  • Fixed attenuation level from 0 dB up to 40 dB
  • Various bandwidth to improve the impedance matching between subsystems of its waveform
  • Wide range of interfaces
  • Male to female connectorisation

DC Blocks separate or block DC voltage (galvanic isolation) and let pass RF frequency along a coaxial transmission line.

RF Filters

HUBER+SUHNER provides a portfolio of RF filters that cover cellular, WiFi 2.4 and 5 GHz, and TETRA security bands. Our standard product portfolio comprises diplexers and multiplexers for mobile communication and transportation applications, the majority of which are ideally suited for in-building coverage solutions. Several railway-qualified products complete the portfolio. Filters are available with N and 7/16 interfaces.

Phase Shifters

HUBER+SUHNER phase shifters allow phase change while maintaining constant VSWR and insertion loss values. These passive devices have proven to be successful in aerospace, missile, and satellite programs. The construction of all phase shifters and trimming devices incorporate fine gauge threads for precise tuning. Phase shifters are terminated with precision interfaces per MIL-STD-348 including SMA, TNC, and N (in series and between series). However, custom devices can be manufactured using other interfaces.

HUBER+SUHNER low passive intermodulation (PIM) components (terminations, adapters, etc.) have an excellent PIM performance for various applications in the communication market as well as for test and measurement.

Low PIM Adapters

These low PIM adapters have been specially developed for applications in intermodulation test set-ups.

Low PIM Load

HUBER+SUHNER offers high performance intermodulation loads for test and measurement in multicarrier high RF power radio applications. They are primarily used to terminate open transmission lines in PIM sensitive applications such as an open port of a hybrid coupler. These intermodulation loads are made by using high performance material, especially selected to obtain the best PIM and VSWR results.

Low PIM Standards

HUBER+SUHNER low PIM standards are special adapters which generate intermodulation products of a certain preset level. They are used to verify intermodulation test benches for an instant and/or long-term level stability monitoring. If the third-order intermodulation value, displayed by the test instrument, deviates from the specified value of the intermod standard, it indicates a general measurement uncertainty which may be caused by the test setup rooting in one or several component or interconnection PIM sources.

Reactive Splitters

Low loss reactive splitters are used to distribute RF signals to multiple transceiver antennas or radiating cables. The RF power is evenly split to all outputs with excellent amplitude and phase balance. Only the common port is matched to 50 ohms. The broad range of reactive power splitters supports cellular, WiFi 2.4 and 5 GHz, and TETRA security bands. Reactive power splitters are available with N, 7/16 and 4.3-10 interfaces.

Wilkinson Splitters

The HUBER+SUHNER series of broadband Wilkinson type combiners/splitters is ideally suited for equally combining or dividing low power multi-carrier/multi-operator signals. Each input and output port is matched to 50 ohms. The frequency range covers 380 or 698 to 2700 MHz. The Wilkinson splitters support cellular, WiFi 2.4 and 5 GHz, and TETRA security bands. Wilkinson splitters are available with an N interface.

Resistive Power Dividers

Power dividers are designed to split a RF signal equally into two output signals with an insertion loss of 6 dB.

Tappers

This series of HUBER+SUHNER tappers unevenly splits high power cellular signals in fixed ratios from 1000:1 to 2:1. It covers the entire spectrum from 350 to 5850 MHz. Tappers are widely used in multi-band/multi-operator in-building systems that cover cellular, WiFi 2.4 and 5 GHz, and TETRA security bands. Tappers are available with N and 4.3-10 interfaces.

HUBER+SUHNER terminators are used to close an open RF port. They are applied in a large variety of test and measurement, defense and communication applications.

Coaxial terminators
Terminators (also called RF loads or dummy loads) are applied to an open end of a transmission line, e.g. an RF port, to prevent the back-reflection of an RF signal. They are used in a large variety of test and measurement, defense and communication applications.

Feed Through Terminators
Feed through terminations are designed to connect 50 ohm transmission lines or RF devices with high impedance test equipment, e.g. oscilloscope.
