Ramona Research, founded in 1978, is a AS9100D certified manufacturing and engineering firm headquartered in Poway, California just outside of San Diego. They design and manufacture rugged RF and microwave transceivers, transmitters, receivers, and power amplifiers for both military and commercial applications.

Ramona Research has fielded thousands of rugged products with a proven history of performance at a fraction of the cost of the competition. They move quickly to find a solution to their customers’ needs and always seek to leverage our existing capabilities to deliver rapid prototypes followed quickly by full production units which undergo full automated testing to ensure the highest level of quality and performance.

Flight Microwave Corporation

Flight Microwave was founded by the engineers and managers that formerly designed the Passive Microwave Hardware for Hughes Space and Communications, HSC.

This group was responsible for the majority of patents and unique passive designs that distinguished HSC as the leader in Multiplexer design. This team was not part of the transfer to Torrance and eventual sale to L3 com.

Since 1981, this group has designed and produced complex filter hardware ranging from dielectric Input Multiplexers, to Antenna Array Diplexers, to 18 ch output Multiplexers. The expertise covers the full range from UHF to 60 GHz.
