The technology that we are focused on includes: RF Communications, Telemetry Systems, Time and Frequency Synchronization and Distribution Systems, Data Acquisition, Instrumentation, Embedded – Rugged Computing and Signal Processing Solutions for Ground, Air, Space applications in the Military, Aerospace, Space and Defense Markets. We value the relationships we have built over the past 40+ years of which, Albuquerque has been the epicenter of our business the entire time. Our vision continues to be built around serving our customer needs by learning about their challenges and by being a local technical resource they can count on.
This technical expo is intended to be a fun, networking and educational environment, featuring some of the latest technologies used in the areas of Test Instrumentation, Space, Airborne & Ground RF Communications, Counter Communications, Directed Energy, Electronic Warfare, Radar and more. We will set up our tables to showcase hardware and software demonstrations that can be leveraged to learn more about the technology developments which can help meet the challenging missions and highly demanding programs in the near and long term.
Technical Tutorial Abstracts
Technical Tutorial #1 presented by LCR Embedded Systems -
SOSA, using VITA form factors in ATR, SAVE or rackmount enclosures: The MOSA strategy in support of US warfighters.
When designing integrated systems in ATR, SAVE, and 19” rackmount enclosures using VITA form factors within the SOSA framework, the Air Force, Army, and Navy benefit from a superior electronics form factor for all platforms across the U.S. arsenal. The VITA ecosystem offers a wide range of vendors providing CPU, switch, FPGA, GPGPU, power, RF digitizers, and up/downconverter solutions. This allows systems integrators to develop any C5ISR system by selecting off-the-shelf VITA plug-in cards (PICs) and pairing them with the appropriate enclosure for deployment on military platforms. This flexibility makes SOSA VITA subsystems the optimal choice for implementing MOSA.
Technical Tutorial #2 presented by Microchip Timing and Frequency Systems - OpenVPX Position, Navigation and Timing (PNT) Systems Designed in Alignment with the SOSA™ Technical Standard.
Based on the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (C5ISR)/ Electronic Warfare Modular Open Suite of Standards (CMOSS) and developed in alignment with the Sensor Open Systems Architecture (SOSA™) Technical Standard, our product portfolio incorporates proven timing approaches to realize the needed resilience for Position, Navigation and Timing (PNT) during adverse conditions as well as GNSS denied environments. This presentation will discuss timing architectures that produces coherent timing signals within a timing system as well as an innovative approach for employing a peer-to-peer synchronization model between systems. As a provider of timing systems to military and defense applications around the globe for more than 30 years, Microchip continually challenges conventional wisdom to reinvent timing architectures that facilitate autonomous, adaptable, and resilient PNT operations.
Technical Tutorial #3 presented by Parraid Telemetry and Data Systems - TMoIP and the Modern Range; Possibilities, Dangers and Concerns. Read the presentation abstract here.
With new techniques to distribute data via Ethernet in real time, the doors are open to many advancements in data processing including edge processors, web-based applications, common tools, and real time access from anywhere in the world. But does this open the door to intrusions, massive latencies, unwanted data access? This presentation covers the possibilities, problems, and solutions to the modern range.
