More than 1,200 test engineers, test technicians and finite element analysts have attended the seminar since 1991. This is a technology-based training, not a manufacturer\u2019s training. However, Data Physics data acquisition systems are used extensively throughout the 4-days to conduct impact and shaker modal tests, time and frequency domain operational deflection shape tests (ODS) and a number of other hands-on laboratories.<\/p>\n<p>Attendees are paired in groups of two. Each group is provided a Data Physics data acquisition system, test instrumentation and test structures. They make their own hands-on measurements, and perform their own data analysis. Every attendee will also receive a fully functional 30-day license of MEscope\u2122 and FEMtools\u2122 for the modal\/ODS analysis, FEM-Test Correlation and FE model updating.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seminar Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>It is the course objective, that when attendees complete the training, they will be able to plan and conduct Modal\/GVT tests and Operational Deflection Shape (ODS) tests on their own.\u00a0Modal test theory is presented from an experimentalist\u2019s point of view.
