VPX - Featured Product Set
3U VPX is a rugged, high performance modular computing standard used in military and aerospace systems where size, reliability, and bandwidth are critical. Based on the VPX and OpenVPX standards, it combines processing, networking, and IO modules into a compact backplane driven system for applications like radar, avionics, electronic warfare, ISR, missile and sensor processing, and rugged test environments. The modular architecture allows system designers to mix and match cards from multiple vendors, scale performance as requirements evolve, and reduce development time. This flexibility, combined with long life support and high speed interconnects, makes 3U VPX well suited for mission critical platforms operating in harsh thermal, shock, and vibration conditions.
