What to expect
For over 40 years, Vic Myers Associates has been connecting our New Mexico Customers with the latest and greatest technology from industry leading suppliers. The technology that we are focused on includes: RF Communications, Telemetry Systems, Time and Frequency Synchronization and Distribution Systems, Data Acquisition, Instrumentation, Embedded – Rugged Computing and Signal Processing Solutions for Ground, Air, Space applications in the Military, Aerospace, Space and Defense Markets. We value the relationships we have built over the past 40+ years of which, Albuquerque has been the epicenter of our business the entire time. Our vision continues to be built around serving our customer needs by learning about their challenges and by being a local technical resource they can count on.
This technical expo is intended to be a fun, networking and educational environment, featuring some of the latest technologies used in the areas of Test Instrumentation, Space, Airborne & Ground RF Communications, Counter Communications, Directed Energy, Electronic Warfare, Radar and more. We will set up our tables to showcase hardware and software demonstrations that can be leveraged to learn more about the technology developments which can help meet the challenging missions and highly demanding programs in the near and long term.
Schedule of Tech Expo Tutorials and Presentations:
Time: 11:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
New QMC Small Form Factor Mezzanine I/O Modules and Carrier Cards
Presenter: Robert Greenfield
Director of Marketing & Business Development
Acromag, Inc.
The VITA 93.0 QMC standard defines a Small Form (SFF) Factor mezzanine that is significantly smaller than XMC with both a host carrier and I/O interface connectors. The QMC Carrier interface supports modern high-speed serial fabrics, such as PCI express. Multiple modules can be installed on various carrier card form factors including 3U/6U Eurocards (VPX, cPCI, VME, etc.), VNX+, PCIe expansion cards, and others. QMCs are suitable for deployment in commercial, industrial, space, or military-grade rugged environments with air-cooled or conduction-cooled implementations. With these features, the QMC module is an ideal solution to interface analog and digital I/O, serial communication, Ethernet, avionics, industrial protocols, FPGAs, GPUs and much more. The 93.1 and 93.2 standards will define additional modular form factors to support a variety of commercial connectors for transition modules and additional processing functions.
Time: 1:00 - 1:30 p.m.
Small Form Factor Advanced Timing Systems: GNSS Disciplined Oscillator Modules

Presenter: Evan Alexander
Product Marketing Engineer
Microchip, Inc.
GNSS Disciplined Oscillator (GNSSDO) modules combine high-performance oscillators and our proprietary holdover, aging and environmental correction algorithms into a small-form-factor PNT system. GNSSDOs and GPSDOs can be integrated as a stand-alone system or as the critical PNT subsystem within a larger design. These modules are excellent options for defense applications, 5G base stations, digital audio broadcasts and general timing and instrumentation applications.
Time: 2:00 - 2:30 p.m.
The Open Computer Project's Data Center Modular Hardware System (DC-MHS) – A New “Tile” Approach to Modular Computer Architecture

Presenter: Keifer Sims
Senior Account Manager
Trenton Systems
The Open Compute Project (OCP) DC-MHS (Data Center Modular Hardware System) specification aims to standardize building blocks for data centers, promoting interoperability and simplifying server development. This initiative, driven by industry leaders like AMD, Intel, and Meta, focuses on modularity and energy efficiency. The DC-MHS includes specifications for various components like the Host Processor Module (HPM), Modular Density Optimized (MDO), and full-width designs.
Time: 3:00 - 3:30 p.m.
