In this edition, Bill from Parriad will provide an introduction to Chapter 7 of the IRIG 106 Handbook and how it is used in Omega Next Software by Parraid.
Chapter 7 of IRIG106-19 defines the means of encapsulating packetized data within a PCM telemetry stream, via that platform’s conventional means of PCM transmission. When transmitted to the ground at which time the PCM Chapter 7 “wrapper” is stripped off leaving the user with streaming Chapter 10.
