Industrial Parts Washers
Cabinet & Batch
A cabinet washer, also commonly referred to as a batch washer, industrial parts washer cabinet, or industrial cabinet washer, is used to wash or pretreat metal parts prior to powder or liquid coating. Instead of moving parts through on a continuous conveyor, cabinet washers process parts in batches. Parts are typically loaded on carts or hung on a manual or indexing conveyor.
Belt Washers
Conveyor driven belt washers—also known as conveyor washers or belt conveyor washers—are industrial parts cleaning systems used to clean parts after machining or manufacturing and to prepare parts for powder or liquid coating. The process may consist of a simple cleaning and rinse or a multi-stage sequence that includes conversion coating.
Dip Tanks
Industrial dip tank washers are used for immersion cleaning of parts. Parts are submerged in a cleaning solution to obtain complete coverage of the part. The parts can be moved, typically vertically up and down, to cause agitation of the solution for better cleaning. The solution in the tanks can also be agitated through circulation, by pumping the solution from the tank and returning it to the tank through eductors.
Drum Washers
Industrial drum washers, also known as rotary drum parts washers, are advanced automated cleaning systems that revolutionize how manufacturers clean large volumes of small to medium-sized parts. Drum Washers are well suited to very economically clean a large volume of small parts such as stamped components or fasteners. These high-efficiency systems efficiently process 10,000 to 45,000+ lbs of small to medium-sized parts per hour.
Monorail Washers
Industrial mono-rail parts washers, a specialized type of conveyor washers, are used to pretreat metal parts prior to powder or liquid coating. The parts are hung on a continuous motorized conveyor, enclosed track or I-beam, which moves the parts through the washer. A continuous monorail parts washer has a higher production rate with less labor than a cabinet and batch washer.
Torrent Technology™
Horizon Torrent Technology™ is used for continuous and batch pretreatment systems, including the advanced Torrent parts washer models designed for powder or liquid coating processes. Pretreatment washers are used to clean and prepare metal parts prior to the application of a coating. This is typically a multi-stage process that cleans and/or applies a conversion coating to the parts prior to powder or liquid coating. The pretreatment process improves the adhesion of the coating to the substrate surface and increases its effective corrosion resistance.
